World-famous Banksy has shared images of a stencil titled “Morning is Broken” on his instagram page this morning. The artwork had been stencilled on the side of a derelict 500-year-old farmhouse near  Herne Bay , Kent.  The cute piece shows the silhouette of a child drawing back the ‘corrugated iron’ curtains with their pet peering round the corner. However, in a Banksy twist, demolition trucks have already torn down the building! The site, previously owned by Blacksole Farms, is getting prepared for 67 homes. Morning is definitely broken!! Local famous street artist, My Dog Sighs and street artist Fark helped the Portsmouth council enlist more than ten other local artists through the Corner Collective to paint the 80-metre-long hoardings around the Hilsea Lido as part of the Hilsea Lines project. The paint jam took place the last weekend in February and saw artworks representing the area, such as foxes, birds, wildlife, ships and positivity. The Hilsea lines project represents the levelling-up of Portsmouth, including Hilsea Lido and Foxes Forest and enhancing walking and cycling routes north of the city. Artists included My Dog Sighs, Fark, Mister Samo, Soak, Mook, Midge, Sadie Tierney, Skank, Gary Stranger, Roo Abrook, Chris Reeves, Sadie Tierney and Matt Dixon. My Dog Sighs painted his signature style, an eye with a reflection, inspired by a local wildlife photographer’s photo. The mural was painted over his old mural, whereas the reflection was of Sean Connerys visit to the Hilsea Lido
